Hi! I just found this blog and I really like your style of your doodles/drawings!:) I am trying to learn how to draw and I'm not good(^-^") Do you have any tips that could help me to draw better?
Hey there! :)
I’m glad you like my drawings. As an artist that is always very critical of her own work, that’s always nice to hear.
If i had any advices to give:
1. Draw from inspiration. Find art you like and try to draw what you like about it. Everyone learns by “copying” other people. Now that doesn’t mean you should post it as your own after but it’s really good practice.
2.Watch some tutorials online or read books about drawing.
3. Draw all the time! Have a sketchbook with you or some paper.
4. Have fun!
Here are a few tutorials I just found on tumblr:
I hope this helps. :)
** I hope those links work… if they don’t I’ll try posting them again**
Just saw your LBD sketches! Would you mind if I posted them as a set linking to you of course! Also, what does it say behind Lydia's image?
Gah sorry for taking so long to answer!!! Of course you can! :D
The text behind Lydia says :
It is a truth universally acknowledged that nothing gets done without alcohol. ( It’s something she says in the first few episodes. Not exactly sure when.)
Let spring come quick…. it’s still way too cold up here. (cold cold canada)
#lizzie bennet diaries
A lot of people have been asking me to do a drawing for Charlotte to complete the Lizzie Bennet Diaries’s set. I actually had done one a while ago but I had decide against posting it for a few reasons.
I couldn’t get the colours right, couldn’t get a sketch of Julia Cho that looked enough like her and I didn’t know what to write in the background.
To this day, I’m still not 100% satisfied about the colour and the sketch but I decide to post it anyway… :D
Congrats to the lizzie bennet team for coming to the end of this wonderful (very successful) journey this week. (wow)
I need to remember to get the dvd set from kickstarter….
